EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Systems Security Specialist, L3 Communications, August 2004 – Present:
Information Systems Security Officer for a U.S. Air Force Intelligence Squadron. Performs security hardening and auditing of all system functions. Analyzes security vulnerabilities on Sun Solaris and Microsoft Windows server and workstation platforms. Performs system certification testing, and provides corrective feedback for all identified security vulnerabilities. Provides security assessment data for incorporation into new system designs. Developed three databases for use within secure facilities to manage control of removable media, system user accounts, and administrator master station logs. Security Team Lead during a DITSCAP Phase IV Site Accreditation for a DGS weapons system.

Information Systems Security Officer, Joint Analysis Center, USAF, July 2000 – April 2004:
Team Lead for 11 Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) inspections. Firewall administrator and system auditor. Performed forensic analysis on systems to retrieve evidence of possible misuse. Established Security Helpdesk, authored all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developed automated trouble ticket tracking process, and served as its Lead for two years. Served as PKI Trusted Agent for a year; member of the Tiger Team that established 1,200 new PKI User Certificates.

Database Specialist, USAF, September 1998 – July 2000:
Database engineer and administrator for SQL Server and Microsoft Access. Developed and maintained the SQL server database resources behind a web based tracking system of current aircraft deployment. Optimized the program planning system. Designed the Fighter Wing’s Fitness Assessment program. Designed an automated scheduling tool for the Ground Tactical Air Control System (GTACS) equipment.

Combat Systems Test Specialist, USAF, June 1994 – September 1998:
Designed and directed 12 test events for 44 critical areas for a Modular Control Equipment (MCE) software assessment. Performed QA on data and procedures, and prepared the final reports on results. Accelerated formal peer review process by incorporating multimedia equipment. Developed a comprehensive training plan to train new programmers and engineers. Created test reports for field and factory engineers on system performance.

Programmer, USAF, May 1993 – June 1994:

Designed software to calibrate facility electronic warfare threat simulators. System administrator for a key electronic warfare simulator. Designed storage and retrieval software for data management of facility computer systems. Performed software maintenance, including redesign and documentation, for critical simulator systems. Developed an automated accounting system to catalog all spare electronic parts.
